On the Vergelegen Wine Estate, the student founders spent a Friday in conversation with leaders shaping Africa's entrepreneurial future. Hosting the group was Dee Moskoff of iKapa, an internship experience connecting students around the world to South African culture and industry, from education to entrepreneurship.

They were joined by members of the Harambean Entrepreneur Alliance, a community of African innovators co-creating Africa's future through shared resources and economic opportunity. Jo Griffiths, co-founder of the Global Innovation Initiative Group (GIIG), shared her journey as a global thinker and impact investor. "If you don't have visibility on the continent, how do you tell your story?" she said.

Bridget Fury, a social impact strategist with 25 years in philanthropy and Founding Director of the Oppenheimer Generations Foundation, also attended, alongside Thandwefike Radebe, co-founder and Chief Strategic Officer of Qwili, a technology company building a digital sales ecosystem for unbanked merchants. His story reminded the founders of the power of intentional impact.

The conversation continued over a forest lunch with Russel Luck, founder of swiftVEE, a SaaS platform connecting African farmers to global markets through digital livestock auctions. The day closed with a Harambean tradition of sharing roses, buds, and thorns from each person's life, a moment of intimate introspection. Lunch with the Harambean Alliance was more than breaking bread. It was a shared commitment toward social entrepreneurship.
