In March 2024, I returned to Cameroon for the first time in 17 years. What began as a personal journey became a moment of clarity about the role entrepreneurship plays in shaping lives and communities.
During that visit, I was reminded that entrepreneurship is a powerful tool people use to create opportunities, provide for their families, and solve problems in their environments. I saw firsthand how creativity, resilience, and determination can transform limited resources into meaningful progress.
My family's experiences created the pathway that allowed me to pursue higher education in the United States, where I completed my undergraduate degree in accounting and a master's degree in entrepreneurship. That journey shaped how I understand entrepreneurship today — not only as a pathway to economic mobility, but as a mechanism for impact.
Businesses have the potential to generate financial sustainability while also addressing social challenges — from access to education and health to economic opportunity and community development. When entrepreneurs are supported by the right networks, partnerships, and resources, their ideas can grow into solutions that create lasting change.
This belief led me to focus on impact innovation — building bridges between entrepreneurs, mission-driven organizations, institutions, and communities so that ideas with social value can develop into sustainable initiatives.
Through my work, I design experiential programs and collaborative platforms that connect students, founders, corporations, and ecosystem partners into shared learning environments. These experiences create visibility, partnerships, and opportunities that help transform ideas into action.
Founders Without Borders was created from this vision: to support entrepreneurship not only as a pathway to business success, but as a force for solving real-world challenges. Because the future of innovation is not just about building companies — it is about building solutions that improve lives.
